About Tony
Tony and his journey began back in the early 1990s at Powerplant Studios & Platinum Australia. After cutting his teeth in a very demanding environment, he relocated to London to become in-house engineer/assistant at The Hit Factory London.
An initial employment of two years at The Hit Factory London led fruitfully to freelancing at many other studios including Sarm West, Marcus Studios, Eden and Whitfield Street, the biggest in the UK scene.
In 2002 he was invited to join EMI Publishing UK as Studio Engineer working alongside the A&R department. After many years working there with the world’s top songwriters, producers and bands, Tony decided it was time to strike out on his own and to build his own business presence in the music industry by bringing his breadth of experience and unique talents home to Australia.
With 17 years London music industry experience behind him, Tony relocated in mid 2009 to Northcote, Melbourne with his family, and joined forces with Milight Recording Studio, situated near East St. Kilda’s Carlisle Street.
Together, Tbone Tunes and Milight Studios have created a contemporary, purpose-built recording studio, with an impressive equipment list and professional audio facilities. More importantly, the space excites and inspires artists, and makes them feel immediately at ease; ready to capture that magical studio recording.
